The Conversion Process
Our experienced staff will lend support to your facilities to make a smooth, easy transition to Nationwide's laboratory testing services with a minimum amount of effort from you and your staff.
In Review
Our team of experienced Nationwide personnel will be on location throughout the conversion process to facilitate the transition of your facilities to our system. We will review and complete paperwork such as assignment of benefits, patient demographics, test profiles, etc. and provide facilities with all necessary computer hardware, such as CPU, monitor, printer, reporting software, in addition to all lab test supplies. Prior to implementing our services, the Nationwide Clinical Coordinator will instruct your staff through a series of in-service orientations to perform the following:
- Prepare individual patient test requisition forms.
- Develop test profiles customized to each patient's specific needs.
- Identify standing order tests required on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
- Outline/train procedures to process and ship specimens to our lab overnight Federal Express/UPS.
- Maintain the Nationwide computer reporting system.
- Enter demographics and profiles into the facility's Nationwide computer system for transmission to our laboratory.
- In addition, as an added benefit we provide multi-location centers with a local, full-time field service representative to train/coordinate all laboratory-related efforts.
